
Mayu Sejima is a Manchester-based model maker and puppet costume maker. Originally from Tokyo and holding a BA in Film Studies, she has over a decade of experience working internationally in the UK, Japan, and the Netherlands.
Her portfolio spans stop-motion animation, live-action projects, editorial, film, and visual merchandising. Mayu brings meticulous craftsmanship and a collaborative spirit to every project, both in the workshop and on set.

Recently Mayu has been undertaking miniature knitting in which she creates tiny knitwear from a single strand of thread. She plans to reproduce iconic costumes from films on a small scale.​
